Project at a glance

The brief

A small vacant flat that needed sorting out before it could be let again. The bathroom was tired and dated, the kitchen had worn-out units and damaged worktops, and the living space needed freshening up throughout. Windows and doors also needed servicing so everything opened, closed, and locked properly.

Clear scope, tight turnaround, and a clean handover at the end.

Bathroom

The bathroom was stripped back and fully refreshed. Old fittings were removed and replaced with a new suite, fresh tiling, and updated plumbing. The flooring was relaid with new safety vinyl, and everything was sealed and finished to a clean, modern standard.

Kitchen

The kitchen got a full overhaul. We replaced the worktops with new post-formed surfaces, fitted a new inset sink with taps, and renewed all the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, handles, and shelving. The plinth was replaced, wall tiles were raked out and regrouted, and new safety flooring was laid across the entire kitchen area.

Living area

The main living space was cleared out, cleaned, and brought back to a presentable standard. Windows and doors throughout the property were serviced — sash lifts, fasteners, and locks renewed, internal doors eased, adjusted, and rehung where needed. Thresholds re-secured, appliances tested, and the whole flat left ready for the next tenant.
